Design and manage mechanical/HVAC systems for diverse projects, from drawings to construction support.
-Coordinates with the other design disciplines in the delivery of mechanical designs -Performs mechanical engineering calculations, edits specifications, and prepares design drawings -Works in the responsible charge of a licensed mechanical engineer -Performs services during construction including responding to RFI's, reviewing submittals, and performing field observations -Assists in developing project construction documents, including conducting site visits, producing specifications, developing drawings, sizing equipment and producing cost estimates.
-Occasional travel as a part of project delivery will be required -Ability to succeed in small and large multi-disciplinary team environments. -Good graphic, communications (verbal and written) and presentation skills. -Knowledge of building codes. -Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and 2-5 years of experience with mechanical/HVAC design. -Proficiency in CADD & REVIT. -Understanding of design and construction documents. -2-5 years of related mechanical/HVAC design and project management experience. -Ability to set deadlines, assign resources, monitor/summarize project progress.
