Tasks

-Prepare and present high-level project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance trends. -Ensure compliance with Bechtel’s project controls procedures and standards -Conduct schedule risk analysis and what-if scenarios to evaluate potential disruptions and develop mitigation strategies. -Implement and oversee earned value management (EVM) to monitor project performance and identify variances in cost and schedule. -Analyze change notices and assess their impact on project cost and schedule, ensuring proper documentation and control. -Interface with contractors and subcontractors to validate construction timelines, assess progress, and resolve schedule conflicts. -Support cost and resource planning integration, ensuring consistency between schedule forecasts and budget allocations.

What You Bring

-Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex data to leadership and clients. -Strong understanding of infrastructure project lifecycle and construction methodologies. -9-12 years of relevant experience in project controls and engineering or a related area. -Ability to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules across engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines. -Competence in change management and impact analysis, including trending and forecasting tools. -Requires bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or international equivalent in a related technical discipline). -At least 5 years of experience specifically in a Project Controls Engineer role within a large-scale organization. -Professional certification in project planning or controls such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional), or equivalent preferred. -Expertise in planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6. -Effective communication skills for interfacing with project leadership and stakeholders. -Minimum 8 to 10+ years of proven experience in project controls, engineering, or a closely related field. -Excellent analytical skills with ability to analyze large and complex data and worksheets. -Proficient in preparing schedule reports, dashboards, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
