Design, test, and document pipeline pig products using AutoCAD/SolidWorks

Tasks

Assembly of products – assisting the project at the build stage Testing of products (i.e. pressure testing, function testing) to confirm client specification. Creating design models & production drawings (using AutoCAD (2D) or Solidworks (3D) design package for both concept designs and existing products. Working within the engineering/projects department, the position is a flexible role, ensuring involvement in all aspects/products within the business. Assistance in preparing operational manuals, engineering studies & datasheets Assistance with project documentation

What You Bring

This role requires a self -motivated candidate with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and a knowledge / interest in mechanical engineering and oil & gas operations. They will be proficient in 2D (AutoCAD) /3D (Solidworks) design packages and be confident using hand calculations / design packages to carry to support designs. Attention to detail, accuracy and strong communication skills are key, along with an ability to manage multiple design projects to stringent timescales/deadlines. For this role, previous design experience with Pipeline Pigs is essential.
