Sprinkler Design Manager

Overview

Design fire sprinkler systems, produce docs, conduct surveys, and coordinate projects

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Consultation with subject matter experts where required -Coordination meetings with external subcontractors within multi-discipline design team. -Liaison with suppliers -Production of technical documentation, installation drawings and coordination models. -Ensure compliance with the relevant design standards and project specifications. -Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety -Review meetings with the client. -Preparation of sprinkler system designs for a variety of applications (Large works, small works, LPC Rules, NFPA, FM) -Participating with internal & third part audits -Production of hydraulic calculations. -On-site surveying where necessary. -Completion and submission to relevant stakeholders of all end-of-project documentation e.g. O&M, As-Fitted Drawings, Certification -Specification of equipment.

What You Bring

-Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Canute FHC design software. Experience of HydraCAD, Autosprink or another relevant design software would be an advantage -Familiarity with all standard MS applications. -LPCB Basic design, Intermediate or FHC qualifications would be an advantage. -Relevant technical design experience and the preparation of technical documentation and drawings. -Working knowledge of BS EN 12845 & LPS1048 Schemes. -Being familiar with & complying to all company & regulatory processes
