The Role
Overview
Lead and manage multi-discipline $100MM+ oil & gas projects from design to commissioning.

Tasks
-Champion Management of Change by identifying and documenting ECNs and processing in a timely fashion where additional work is required. -Prepare and evaluate monthly progress reports, describing the schedule, manpower expenditures and work scope for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. -Ensure the client's input and job requirements are adequately addressed and implemented consistently with the contractual requirements. -Performs field walk downs and data collection. Position necessitates field activities, some climbing, and occasional travel. -Ensure invoices are processed timely and accurately per contract agreements. Act as a liaison between the client and the accounting department on any outstanding invoices. -Responsible for maintaining proper staff levels to meet project requirements while liaising with department managers accordingly, for staffing and de-staffing. Actively recruit and train personnel for projects as necessary. -Develop, coach and track employee skill level in technical and work management areas. -Direct and manage the activities of Project personnel and support the team in the planning, scheduling, design quality and execution of projects. -Maintain a documentation file, accurately describing all commercial, technical and financial correspondence. -Assume full responsibility for the successful execution of each assigned project for schedule compliance, budget compliance, and scope and quality of deliverables. -Develop project proposals, proposal scopes of work, and budgets and forecasts. -Execute all aspects of the project including staff management, providing vision and strategic leadership, monitoring project schedules and budgets, evaluating project productivity and quality and directing the complete technical operations of the project. -Build relationships and coordinate with the client and project personnel. -Organize and supervise the implementation of project management systems and corporate quality systems. -Develop new business opportunities as a by-product of relationship with clients. Participate in business development meetings and drive growth of clientele. -Plan and identify upcoming tasks, potential problem areas, technical information, staffing priorities and identify solutions where necessary. -Develop and implement administrative, technical and corporate procedures and policies to ensure the successful operation of the project on a profitable basis. -Monitoring, reporting, and controlling project costs and schedule through all phases of the Project. Full understanding of project gross margin and revenue management.

What You Bring
-Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments. -Experienced in managing a portfolio of projects ranging from small to mid-cap projects, as well as mid- large cap standalone projects of $100MM TIC and up. -PE license is preferred. -Experience managing mid-large capital projects totaling more than $100MM TIC. These projects include brownfield, greenfield, retrofit, or debottlenecking / expansion in oil and gas, petrochemical, chemicals, biofuels, and renewable energy. All these projects involve management of multiple engineering disciplines and vendor management from early phases of project through start-up and commissioning. -Strong communication and inter-personal skills are required to provide effective intra and inter-discipline coordination on projects, as well as effective communication with clients and vendors. -Experience in successfully managing and executing work with overseas High Value Engineering (HVE) offices in both vertical and horizontal models. -At least 8-10 years as a Project Manager. -Full and ongoing compliance with and adherence to all vaccination requirements, as may be established by the company from time to time or by or for a particular job site. -Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others. -15 to 20 years of experience in the Process Plant, Petroleum Refining, and / or Petrochemical Sector. Some Sustainable Energy experience is preferred. -Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred; equivalent experience in lieu of education will be accepted. -Willingness to learn and work on a variety of tasks within multiple industries.
