Tasks

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance. You will lead a dedicated team of engineers and supervisors, driving performance, continuous improvement, and outstanding client satisfaction. -Act as the primary site contact, ensuring exceptional communication and service delivery. -Lead, coach, and motivate a team of maintenance engineers and supervisors to deliver high-quality service. -Take ownership of all PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring contractual and legislative compliance. -Foster a proactive culture centred on safety, accountability, and technical excellence. -Attend regular client meetings and provide updates on performance, compliance, and improvement initiatives. -Ensure full adherence to health & safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements. -Manage subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely and to specification. -Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management in line with company standards.

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for an experienced Facilities Manager to join one of the UK’s leading FM providers, taking ownership of a very prestigious static site in West London. -Budget management experience and confident with CAFM systems. -Proven experience managing maintenance operations on a static or critical site. -Strong technical background within hard FM (mechanical, electrical, or building services). -Excellent understanding of statutory compliance and maintenance processes. -Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop teams. -Full UK driving licence. -Confident communicator experienced in dealing with clients and senior stakeholders. -NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) preferred.
