Repair, maintain, and diagnose Caterpillar equipment in the field.

Tasks

-Interact with internal and external customers -Maintain and track inventory and tooling -Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required -Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes) -Transportation of Dangerous goods -Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment at customer facilities and work sites -Perform a wide variety of equipment repair diagnostics

What You Bring

-Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset -H2S Alive -CAT Dealer Training -Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily -Eye, Hand and Back Safety -Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail -Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract -Journeyperson Red Seal HET certification required -Previous repair and troubleshooting experience with Caterpillar general line products would be considered an asset -Completion of Finning S-Levels, Failure Analysis, Machine Electronic Controls, or Tier 4 training would be considered an asset -Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
