Tasks
-Entrepreneurial Mindset: Assist in developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans by studying market conditions and internal operational needs, identify technological and commercial opportunities; present assumptions and recommend objectives and execution of strategies necessary to achieve agreed performance targets -Asset Performance Optimization: Monitor asset performance, investigate underperformance, and develop and implement strategies to maximize the operational performance of renewable energy assets; manage technical issues to ensure strategies are fully analyzed, and appropriate solutions developed and implemented -Contract Management: Oversee contracts with suppliers, service providers, and other internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives -Process Improvements: Implement and continuously improve local asset management systems and processes consistent with organizational policies and standards -Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulations and ensure that all renewable energy projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental permits -Financial Management: Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of individual assets; Drive long-term profitability and risk minimization -Monthly Reporting: Review monthly operating reports; support in the presentation of monthly availability and financial analysis for internal stakeholders -The Sr Associate will assist the Asset Manager in driving the profitability of wind, solar, and battery storage assets, by analyzing operational and financial performance and identifying the causes for underperformance. The Associate will also support the development, implementation, and management of production enhancement or cost savings initiatives resulting from the performance analysis -Risk Management: Identify and assess risks related to asset performance, market conditions, and regulatory changes

What You Bring
-Strong financial modeling and analytical skills -Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to translate technical findings into commercial implications -Experience in asset management and/or technical expertise in the renewable energy industry -Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables -Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds -Minimum 3 years proven experience in the renewable energy sector -Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines -Asset Management, Operations, or Controlling experience is highly desirable -Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities -Detail-oriented and has a sound understanding of business concepts -Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team -Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements (esp. ERCOT) -Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams -Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field or 2 additional years of comparable work experience. Master's degree or professional certification is a plus -Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage internal/external relationships
