Tasks

-Validate business cases using ROI analysis and prototyping for innovations. -Partner with global manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, and commercial teams to implement VA/VE initiatives, optimizing between COGS, reliability, and customer experience. -Manage post-launch product lifecycle by conducting root cause analysis and implementing design improvements for existing products. -Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and manufacturing teams to prototype, test, and validate new concepts. -Act as the primary engineering interface for product management, translating VOC data into engineering requirements and product specifications for next-generation water quality systems. -Work closely with regulatory and quality teams to ensure product certifications and compliance. -Provide technical support to sales, service, and customer care teams. -Stay updated on the latest regulatory standards affecting assigned categories, ensuring the product and technology roadmap complies. -Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve field failures using the 8D methodology, focusing on customer experience and reducing warranty costs. -Contribute proactively to proposed new regulatory and code standards development, working with legal and regulatory teams to craft comments and influence rulemaking. -Guide junior engineers and cross-functional teams in best practices for product design, testing, and documentation.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Agile frameworks, requirements management tools, and IoT platforms. -Experience in product management and engineering. -Ability to simplify technical concepts for executives and product teams. -Familiarity with pool industry standards, regulations, and water chemistry. -New product development experience. -Co-author 3-year technology roadmaps, prioritizing features aligned with innovation goals. -10+ years of engineering experience with stakeholder management. -Proficiency in IoT and electromechanical products. -Expertise in DFMEA, DOE, and statistical analysis using Minitab. -Experience with IoT-enabled devices and embedded systems. -Experience with water-based industries is preferred. -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering. -Knowledge of sustainability principles and eco-design.
