Tasks

-Lead the development and implementation of supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives. -Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating strategic agreements for volume purchases. -Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely delivery while optimising costs and reducing emissions. -Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning and alternative sourcing. -Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across procurement, logistics, and inventory management. -Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment of supply with demand. -Ensure quality standards are upheld and foster a culture of innovation and improvement.

What You Bring

-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. -Willingness to travel internationally as required. -CIPS qualification and a relevant degree or HND are desirable. -Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools. -Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. -Proven experience in a senior supply chain role within the upstream energy sector (oil & gas, maritime, or offshore wind). -Strong strategic buying experience, including contract negotiation and supplier agreements.
