Tasks

You will own the entire business development cycle: prospecting, shaping solutions, closing deals, and supporting long-term client success. Help Australia’s fleets go electric This is a growth-focused position at the intersection of sales, solution design, and client success. You’ll be JET Charge’s specialist for fleet charging solutions, building our presence in the market and driving the transition for fleet operators. -Guide clients through electrification planning and scale pilot programs into long-term rollouts -Create tailored EV charging proposals including hardware, software, and energy solutions -Identify, develop, and secure opportunities with fleet operators, FMOs, leasing companies, OEMs, and large corporate fleets -Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, delivery, and product teams to deliver successful projects. -Manage pipeline, produce accurate sales forecasts, and provide market intelligence -Lead commercial negotiations, build compelling business cases, and close B2B deals

What You Bring

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to own and grow our presence in the fleet market. If you’ve worked with fleet operators, FMOs, or corporate mobility programs and know how to turn big plans into scalable solutions, this is where you can make a real impact. This role is full-time based in our North Ryde office, with a hybrid arrangement. Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents -Excellent communicator with influencing skills at all levels -Strong commercial acumen and ability to navigate infrastructure and technical solutions -Demonstrated success securing and growing B2B partnerships -Proven business development or sales experience in fleet management, automotive, or energy – fleet operator experience is highly regarded
