Coordinate equipment and material delivery for electrical substation and transmission projects.

Tasks

-Document all meetings and discussions related to equipment and material delivery. -Build and maintain relationships with clients and key points of contact. -Proactively identify and communicate equipment and material delivery delays and support the Project Manager in developing workarounds to mitigate impacts on the project schedule. -Track minor material delivery orders for substation and transmission line projects, verifying status of quotes and orders, and ensuring that bill of materials and purchase orders are accurate. -Occasionally travel to vendor facilities to verify production readiness. -Track, report, and communicate major electrical equipment delivery dates and delivery readiness to meet project schedules. -Develop, maintain, and communicate status of equipment and material delivery via regular reports and presentations to the project stakeholders.

The successful candidate will coordinate timely equipment and material delivery on electrical substation and transmission projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and collaboration with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will work alongside the client in the project office in Akron, OH. -Prior experience in Transmission Lines, Substations, and Communications material and equipment required. -A bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline is required. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Prior experience in a procurement organization preferred. -Excellent communication skills and professional etiquette. -A minimum of 4 years of related work experience in supply chain, material tracking, or procurement is required. -Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. -Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. -High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. -Excellent organization skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
