Community Manager

Overview

Manage daily operations, leasing, tenant relations, and staff for multiple apartment communities.

Tasks

-Cultivate relationships with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and community stakeholders -Review monthly financial statements, attend budget meetings with Senior Management, and monitor rent collections and delinquency -Lead staff meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration -Provide supervision and motivation to all on-site personnel -Provide training and development opportunities to team members. -Ensure the accuracy of reporting data and promptly address tenant complaints with professionalism -Achieve and maintain high occupancy rates through effective leasing and retention efforts. -Oversee leasing and administrative tasks, including prospect inquiries, viewings, applications, leases, notices, and renewals -Stay informed about industry and market trends to inform decision-making -Manage daily maintenance requests and conduct regular property inspections to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents -Foster positive relationships with prospects and tenants through clear and effective verbal and written communication -Uphold tenant privacy and confidentiality, prioritize safety, and comply with residential tenancy laws -Participate in the Occupational Health and Safety Program to ensure compliance with onsite safety regulations -Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training and development for staff -Implement and enforce community policies and regulations.

-Exceptional communication and leadership abilities -Possession of a valid driver’s license -Proficient in administration, organization, and time management -Familiarity with RTDRS rules and regulations -Prior supervisory experience is advantageous -Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service -Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe; familiarity with -Maintain a professional demeanor both onsite and offsite during business-related activities -Understanding of budgeting principles -Yardi software is a plus -Capable of thriving in high-pressure, fast-paced settings -High school diploma required; additional education preferred -More than 3 years of experience in property management
