Tasks
-Work with community leadership to ensure budget compliance -Function as a role model for staff by being punctual, neat, clean, and professional in appearance -Provide effective and thoughtful leadership by building strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including residents, families, community leadership, community team members, referral partners and volunteers -Assist with developing, strengthening, and maintaining positive relationships with referral partners -Foster a working environment that is learning and growing together. Monitors ongoing staff training to ensure monthly compliance. Provide staff development opportunities, mentoring and coaching, for those who are wanting career development, and are in good standing or who have been identified as up-and-coming leaders -Support the sales team with outreach, tours, creative follow ups and home visits -Oversee recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training of new community team members -Lead efforts to celebrate successes and accomplishments, including but not limited to company milestones, anniversaries, and birthdays, within the community for our staff -Attend internal and/or external meetings as requested and/or required -Support each of the department head team in their respective roles by partnering and supporting as needed to ensure the overall department runs efficiently and to our brand standards -Working with department heads and supervisors, evaluate the performance of team members, support the team during the annual performance review process and ensure that performance reviews are done and administered on time with all team members -Oversee the process of conflict resolution within the organization as needed to build a cohesive, relationship-driven work environment -Ensure compliance with company policies pertaining to resident care, human resources, financial control, public relations, maintenance of physical plant, and policies and procedures

What You Bring
-Must have an acceptable driving record per the company motor vehicle policy -Able to use a systematic approach in solving problems and making decisions. Uses information available, performs research and asks questions to get input prior to making decisions. Considers alternative choices, before finding a solution to the current challenge -A Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related subject is strongly preferred -A solid understanding of local, state, and federal regulations as they pertain to the community -Able to define realistic, specific goals and objectives as well as define tasks and deliverables necessary to meet goals -Solid communication skills; verbal, listening and presentation skills -Ability to work varied schedules to include weekends, evenings, overnights, and holidays -Being willing to understand, implement, and maintain a hospitality environment for residents, families, and staff -Able to perform budget analysis, review, and control -Experience in recruiting, onboarding, training, and retaining team members -Able to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitments to goals and objectives -Able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting motivation and a sense of urgency -Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a leadership role with demonstrated success, preferably in the senior living industry -Able to clearly present information through the spoken and written word. Can accurately communicate, providing the necessary level of detail even under stressful and/or demanding conditions
