Electrical Project Engineer

Assist PM with schedules, budgets, coordination, and documentation for electrical projects.

Tasks

-Promote the company safety culture and safety awareness throughout the company, projects, or office. -Complies with all company and site policies and best practice standards. -Conducts actions in a professional and unbiased manner. -Assist with labor forecasting and project billings -Develop operations and maintenance manuals and as-builts as required -At times will be required to use a ladder and work at tall heights (i.e. roof top, access ladders, scissor-lift, scaffolding) -Conduct workplace inspections assessing quantity & specification/quality, percent completion by subcontractors, & safety compliance -Continuously develops proficiency and understanding in the role. -Participates in and complies with all company safety and quality programs and procedures. -Create project management & superintendent documentation including schedules, material purchases, cost management, progress charts, labor allegation, etc. -Maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record which, per Company’s vehicle policy, allows operation of a company vehicle. -Coordinate/communicate with owners, vendors, crews, subcontracts, architects, and suppliers to facilitate timely project completion -Utilizes relevant company technology to support all assigned responsibilities.

-Periods of time walking on construction sites -Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner -Ability to multitask while delivering quality through attention to detail -Ability to prioritize multiple projects -Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook -Ability to understand and implement best practice standards -Ability to follow-up on inquiries in a timely manner -0+ years of related work experience -Positive, self-motivated professional with good communication and interpersonal skills -Safety-sensitive position that requires extreme focus and attention to safety hazards and safety protocols. -Ability to be proactive and resourceful when issues arise -Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds -Other technical experience such as military, on the job training programs, etc. may meet this requirement as determined by local management -Occasional activity: standing, walking, bending, reaching above shoulder, climbing, and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling -May require periods of overnight travel -Frequent activity: sitting, viewing, and typing on computer screen -Bachelor's degree from 4-year college/university or equivalent experience -Ability to adapt to change and stress in the work environment and manage competing demands while maintaining high performance levels -Ability to learn and use a variety of company-related software, tools and systems necessary to meet business needs -Ability to build relationships with team members and clients -Solid communication skills, verbal and written -Ability to quickly and effectively solve complex problems -Excellent organizational skills -Maintains a professional appearance and workspace.
