Tasks

-Escalates issues with management team to solve problems. -Provide regular updates to management, operations, and support staff regarding the proposals -Assists the business development team with scoping projects for proposals. -Review and analyze RFP documents to ensure adequate budget and proposal preparation information is provided. -Manages procurement/RFQ submittals for equipment, material, and services budgeting on EPC proposals. -Ensure the quality and compliance of final proposal documents. -Manages the proposal process for engineering and small construction projects. -Provides project leadership during the proposal phase, acting as a project manager on large proposal efforts. -Develops project budgets. -Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests. -Ensure the data is up to date in 4CastPlus -Leads internal meetings for coordination and planning proposals. -Participate in the handover of successful proposals to the project team -Maintains relationships with client project managers. -The position has immediate oversight of team members most of the time performing the same or directly related work as those the position leads. -Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; develops realistic action plans. -Develop and share best practices with team members to enhance quality and efficiency. -Preparation of high-quality and accurate documents in accordance with the agreed strategy and sponsor expectations under the pressure of changing timelines. -Manages internal resources to complete proposals on time -Fosters relationships with the team and internal management, as well as maintains relationships with directors and management. -Prepares scopes of work for subcontractors. -Communications with clients throughout the proposal process on items such as deliverable and schedule requirements -Leads schedule planning discussions to ensure client objectives are met. -Facilitates communication with the team and other stakeholders. -Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 7-years’ relevant experience in technical project management or comparable technical leadership position required (10-years preferred). -Client communication and management -Judgement - Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; makes timely decisions. -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably an Engineering degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical Engineering. -Project Management Professional preferred. -Reasoning and Problem Solving - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems, identify complex problems, and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. -The employee must rarely lift and move up to 25 pounds and should do so in a sound and safe manner. This job’s specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. -Detail Oriented – Consistently checks and rechecks work product for accuracy. Able to manage multiple tasks while accurately performing essential job functions.
