Tasks

-Create, monitor and report on roadmaps and progress against the sector strategic plan. -Conduct and develop comprehensive market research and analysis understanding industry trends, competitive landscape and customer demands. -Identify emerging technologies, business models and market disruptions that impact the sector. -Provide global benchmarking and peer analysis to maintain competitive positioning. -Develop proposals for new and existing clients. Substantive analysis and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic business direction. -Identify and evaluate strategic M&A opportunities, business expansion and diversification opportunities. -Develop and maintain the sectors strategic plan ensuring alignment with the sector strategy and Ventia's overall enterprise strategy. -Shape Ventia's Defence & Social Infrastructure long term strategic growth & direction.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking generating concepts from capture to planning insights. -Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Finance, Legal or similar. -Well-developed experience in Strategy Operations and Business Management, precontracts or similar -Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to influence outcomes across stakeholder groups.First class Excel, Power Point presentation development and delivery skills. -Analytical mindset with the ability to take a vision and communicate and inspire. -Hands on approach to delivery working with leaders and operations.
