Tasks

-Work with our talented water resources staff to successfully deliver a wide variety of projects such as sediment transport, flood risk management, and dam safety. -Build and maintain strong client relationships while mentoring and growing staff. -Contribute to the development and delivery of comprehensive water resources projects. -Manage water resources projects, coordinating with project teams, and contributing to the development and delivery of comprehensive water resources projects.

What You Bring

-CFD Modeling experience -Experience in dam and levee design, engineering, and construction -Licensed Professional Engineer in the United States with the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states. -Experience working with a team of drainage engineers, civil engineers and highway designers to deliver large transportation projects -Interest and experience in mentoring civil and other engineering staff, and/or serving in a supervisory role. -This is a remote opportunity open to candidates residing in most US states (see exceptions below). If you're open to relocation, please not this in your application -Experience supervising and mentoring other engineers and team members -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; Occasional overnight travel will be required. -Previous experience with open channel hydraulics modeling -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. -Experience in 2D Hydraulic models -Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InfoWorksICM, or PCSWMM
