The Role

Overview

Operate and manage storage terminal activities, including loading, unloading, safety, and maintenance.

Tasks

-Assists with information gathering for inventory and compliance reporting -Performs needed tasks within the company’s Spill Response Team -Attends one spill exercise bi-annually -Assists with preventive maintenance of terminal equipment -Responsible for loading and unloading Trucks -Monitors process indicators, instruments, gauges, and meters to detect and report any possible problems -Safely climbs various equipment components of the facility to collect samples, data and perform other necessary work on a regular basis -Reads unit gauges to determine the flow rate of product into and from tanks and the amount of product in tanks -Assists with data entry in terminal automation software, electronic devices, and other approved platforms -Assists with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance within the terminal -Pre-start up Safety Review -Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance using motorized equipment -Testing Fuel, Logging Fuel, Blending, and Fuel Additive information -Completes bi-annual First-Aid, CPR and AED training -Assists with pre-job planning and safe work permitting -Inspects equipment on a scheduled timeframe -Participates in annual boom deployment training -Responsible for performing duties related to pipeline/terminal (maintenance, safety, light construction, etc.) -Collects and/or catches samples from tanks, pipes, and tank trucks and any additional/special samples as required -Responsible for operation of manual and automatic valves, meters, pumps, loading stations and transfer systems that move product between truck, tanks, and pipelines

What You Bring

-Work effectively, safely and comfortably in PPE, Ability to work in temperature range of below freezing to 100+ Degrees, Must pass medical evaluation for Emergency Response, Enrolled in respiratory program, Must complete annual Hazwoper Refresher training, Work Space: 90% Field, 10% Office -Continuously within shift (67-100%): Walking -Communications - oral and written -Occasionally within shift (1-33%): Weight lifted / force exerted up to 50 pounds -Completes FEMA ICS 100 & 200 Training -Completes 40hr Hazwoper Training -In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. -Passes required OQ (Operator Qualification) testing -No Licensure or Certification Required. -E&I or Electrical/Mechanical experience desired -Attention to Detail -High School Diploma or GED (Required) -Occasionally within shift (1-33%): Climbing -One (1) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)
