Tasks

Work closely with structural engineers, contractors, building owners, and other partners Conduct site observations, field testing, and quality-control checks Create repair strategies, detailed drawings, specifications, and other construction documents Direct design work for new and existing envelopes while ensuring alignment with codes, standards, and sustainability targets Prepare clear technical reports, client presentations, and proposals Carry out condition surveys, forensic reviews, and root-cause evaluations of envelope and façade systems

What You Bring

Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI) credential or ability to obtain it within six months InGenivm Group is partnered with a multidisciplinary technical consulting firm that is looking for a licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect with extensive experience in the performance, design, and rehabilitation of building envelope systems. The person in this role will guide investigations, develop solutions for façade and waterproofing issues, and lead envelope design work for both existing and new buildings. The right candidate has a strong command of building science, thrives on solving tricky performance problems, and is comfortable steering complex projects. Active PE or RA license in the state of NY, NJ, CT, PA At least 10 years of relevant professional experience Demonstrated ability to manage clients and lead projects Degree in architecture, architectural engineering, civil or structural engineering, or a related field Experience with New York City façade assessment programs preferred Strong background in evaluating and repairing existing buildings, especially façade and envelope systems Experience mentoring or managing staff
