Tasks

-Assist in business development activities to expand company's market presence. -Performs traffic and transportation systems analysis, planning, and design. -Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. -Responsible for performance of project staff. Mentors and develops team members. -Lead and manage multiple traffic engineering projects, ensuring successful project delivery on time and within budget. -Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and manage resources. -Determines feasibility of projects based on analysis of collected data. -Provides technical and engineering support, including technical proposals, contract design, and cost estimates.

What You Bring

-Proven track record of success in business development. -Strong team building and team management skills. -Demonstrated success in managing projects to scope, schedule, and budget. -12 or more years' experience performing projects similar to those listed above with minimum 5 years in a project management role. -Degree in engineering, planning or related field. -Experience with Microstation or other CAD software. -Expertise using engineering software, manuals and methodologies required for above projects. -12 or more years of progressive experience in traffic engineering. -Experience using SYNCHRO, VISSIM and similar modeling software. -PE License in Texas (or ability to acquire this within 3 months). -TxDOT precertification in applicable categories.
