Tasks

-Be responsible for compliance with corporate policies. -Communicate, collaborate, and update the leadership on safety, quality, schedule, budget, risks & opportunities. -Work with stakeholders to ensure proper procurement of equipment and materials. -Review all engineering adjustments and design changes for commercial impacts. -Ensure the growth and skill development is occurring for all project team members and their respective engineering and construction disciplines on and off the project. -Lead and ensure the upfront planning of the project. Will manage and ensure the development of and the adherence to the design and construction schedule with the project team. -Manage and own all financial aspects of the project while coordinating financial reporting with Project Controls. -Ensure that safety is a number one priority. -Troubleshoot issues as they arise; evaluates alternatives, proposes solutions and gain team buy-in from engineering, customer, and other stakeholders. -Manage, own, and control the administration of the contract between the customer and the company. -Develop and manage the customer relationship during the project lifecycle with the goal of collaborating, serving, and building a mutual and trusting relationship.

What You Bring

-Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. -High proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of P6 & Microsoft Project scheduling platforms. -Profound business management skills, ability to run the project as an enterprise. -Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring of future leaders. -Superior verbal and written communication skills. -Thorough understanding of applicable codes and specifications in heavy industrial construction -Travel flexibility is required. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management program, or similar discipline from a four-year college or university. -Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills (tact, diplomacy, and influence). -Ability to navigate through corporate and industry practices and standards. -Commensurate GC/EPC experience spanning years of engineering, estimating, management and construction work proving technical and leadership competencies.
