Tasks

-Ensure strict adherence to company policies, commercial strategies, and contractual obligations. -Provide leadership and mentorship to the commercial management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. -Collaborate with engineering, planning, QS, procurement, and estimation teams to produce commercial proposals. -Support dispute resolution processes and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. -Establish and maintain a comprehensive register for claims and variation orders across all projects. -Lead claims management processes, including reviewing variations, assessing cost implications, and coordinating with legal teams. -Oversee and manage all commercial activities across the company’s projects to ensure financial and contractual success. -Drive effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. -Engage with clients, contractors, and consultants to secure approvals and manage commercial negotiations.

The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of profitable, compliant, and strategically aligned commercial operations across all project portfolios. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual with a strong commercial mindset, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to guide teams toward achieving organizational objectives. -Exceptional leadership, analytical, and relationship-building skills. -Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze data and make strategic business decisions. -Deep understanding of commercial practices, project management, and contract law. -Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to commercial operations. -Proficiency in managing budgets, forecasts, and KPIs. -Expertise in commercial strategy development, including market analysis, pricing, and revenue optimization. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. -Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management or contract administration within the construction industry. -Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques to drive business growth. -Proven track record in negotiating and managing complex contracts. -PMP certification is required; FIDIC knowledge is preferred.
