Overview

Perform interior and exterior maintenance joinery and repairs for building services.

Tasks

-Carry out repairs to ironmongery, blinds, door furniture and glazing. -Cut and construct metal framing systems. -Ad-hoc on call for emergency work. -Set out new work using relevant tools and materials without supervision. -Interpret and work from instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to his trade, without supervision.

Requirements

• nvq level3
• health safety
• skill card
• driving licence
• timber machining
• scaffolding

What You Bring

-A recognised apprenticeship with a minimum of City & Guilds craft certificate/ NVQ Level 3 IN Carpentry / Joinery and proven experience in the trade. -Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation. -Construction skill card holder -Full driving licence -Experience in the machining of timber and fabrication of new joinery. -Prepared to work at high levels on scaffolding. -Be able to work on small work schemes without supervision.
