Assist in electrical design and analysis for water delivery projects.

Tasks

-Conducts basic interpretations of drawings, codes, and other similar materials. -Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer and/or designer. -Performs basic calculations to analyze and design electrical system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software. -Performs field work as directed by a senior engineer and/or designer. -Assists with collecting data and gathering information to support design decisions. -Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity.

What You Bring

-Ability to take direction, follow process and accept feedback and suggestions from Senior Engineers / Designers. -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. -Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying -Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought. -Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material. -Understanding of AutoCad, and the use of it as an electrical design tool. -Understanding of electrical engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others. -Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. -Coop / internship experience preferred. -03 years experience -Performs electrical design using knowledge of relevant software programs.
