What You Bring

Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies -Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or Business. -Demonstrated experience across the full contract lifecycle, including pre-award (tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation) and post-award (contract execution, claims management, dispute resolution). -Language: Proficiency in English (native or fluent/professional level, both written and verbal). -Experience: Minimum of 15 years’ professional experience in the oil and gas sector, with a strong background in contract administration and management. -Strategic Decision-Making: Ability to make sound judgments under pressure, balancing commercial, technical, and legal considerations. -Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in building and managing relationships with internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, procurement, project management) and external parties. -In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts, bespoke EPC agreements, and international contract law, with the ability to apply principles in complex, multi-jurisdictional projects. -Strong competence in contract drafting, legal interpretation, and risk allocation, ensuring compliance with both corporate policies and international legal standards. -Analytical & Organizational Strengths: High attention to detail, with strong analytical skills for interpreting complex contracts and managing documentation. -Collaboration & Team Leadership: Effective team player capable of leading cross-functional teams, mentoring junior staff, and fostering a collaborative working environment. -Proven commercial acumen with the ability to assess financial exposure, liabilities, and contractual risks in high-value projects. -Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of negotiating effectively with clients, contractors, and partners at senior levels.
