Tasks

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.) and timely filing of returns. Establish and maintain internal financial controls to mitigate risks. Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, and banks. Monitor and manage cash flows to ensure the smooth running of operations. Ensure timely and accurate MIS reports for management review. Optimize working capital by managing receivables, payables, and vendor payments. Partner with business units to track project-level profitability, cash flows, and cost controls. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, business development to align financial goals with business objectives. Coordinate with auditors to complete statutory and internal audits Support preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections. Support debt compliance, interest servicing, and lender reporting Continuously improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting timelines. Oversee general accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. Develop cash flow forecasts to anticipate funding needs. Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring their professional growth. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. Drive automation and digitization of finance processes, with focus on Zoho Books implementation and reporting improvements. Deliver monthly MIS, variance analysis, and dashboards for management review. Conduct variance analysis between actuals and budgets to monitor financial performance Oversee accounting and financial reporting across group entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind-AS, Companies Act).

What You Bring

Experience in Zoho books is an added advantage. Hands-on experience in cash flow management, working capital, and cost optimization. We are seeking a Group Finance Controller / Manager – Finance & Accounts who will lead group-level accounting, compliance, and financial control, while enabling business leaders with accurate insights for decision-making. Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred with strong accounting background Deep understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. 4+ years of experience is required with at least 2–3 years in a Controller/Manager role Ability to work in a fast-paced promoter-driven environment Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
