Tasks

-Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing, ensuring coverage of all electrical components. -Maintain organized records of historical costs and completed estimates to support future projects. -Assist in the development of conceptual estimates and early-phase budgeting for clients. -Review design documents, specifications, and drawings to determine electrical scope requirements. -Identify value engineering opportunities and evaluate alternative design solutions to optimize project costs. -Stay up to date on market trends, material pricing, and labor productivity to ensure accurate forecasting. -Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost analyses, and estimates for electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, low-voltage, fire alarm, etc.) across various project types. -Participate in client presentations, proposal development, and project interviews when needed. -Collaborate with preconstruction, MEP, and operations teams during budgeting, bidding, and project award phases.
