MEP Group Manager

Overview

Lead and expand MEP practice in Midwest, managing team and client relationships.

Tasks

-Identify and pursue new business development and acquisition opportunities. -Monitor group performance against departmental KPIs and support overall business goals. -Supervise design and construction administration tasks across disciplines. -Foster and maintain client relationships to support ongoing and future business. -Drive continuous improvement in technical execution and team processes. -Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices. -Collaborate with other disciplines and leverage support from MEP teams in other regions. -Participate in strategic business planning and assist with project selection. -Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal project teams. -Oversee day-to-day team operations to ensure high-quality, timely project delivery. -Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineers.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. -Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred -Proven project management and team leadership experience. -10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, including MEP/facilities design. -Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and compliance. -Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. -Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; hands-on design experience preferred.
