Tasks

-Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments. -Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization. -Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches. -Supervises group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating activities of the unit.

What You Bring

-Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering. -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering or related degree and 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education -10+ years of experience in Power Transmission Design -Sponsorship for US Employment Authorization is not available for this position -Experience with PLS-CADD, MFAD, AutoCAD -Must be able to effectively supervise a team of Engineers & Engineering Technicians while maintaining work product quality, consistency, accuracy, and reliability -Professional disposition and the ability to be open-minded when it comes to planning and execution of projects being worked on by staff -Advanced knowledge of overhead & underground Transmission facilities and understanding of their integration into daily activities -Experience with NESC, ASCE, IEEE, and other industry-relevant standards -Proficiency in MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project) -Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field. Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.
