Tasks

-Interpret design sketches, survey data, and project requirements to generate accurate drawings. -Prepare and develop detailed 2D/3D drawings for civil and geotechnical structures, including layout, construction, as-built, and shop drawings. -Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to prepare and finalise drawings. -Maintain drawing standards and ensure proper version control. -Modify and update drawings based on review comments or field changes as per instructions from engineers. -Coordinate with project managers to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines. -Ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications and project timelines -Conduct quality checks and reviews to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies in drawings.

What You Bring

-Ability to read and prepare topographic and contour maps, geological cross-sections, and layout plans. -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. -Exposure to BIM workflows and digital drawing systems. -Experience in hydropower projects (HEP), Pumped Storage Projects (PSP) and major irrigation projects is highly desirable. -Good understanding of engineering drawings, including scales, sections, and detailing. -Degree/Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering or equivalent. -Knowledge of drafting standards (IS, BIS, or international standards). -Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D); knowledge of Civil 3D or Revit is a plus. -Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment. -Familiarity with geotechnical terminology, soil/rock classification, and investigation data. -Minimum 3+ years of relevant drafting experience in civil infrastructure or hydropower projects.
