Tasks
Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, the IT Category Manager is an integral part of the Infrabuild Procurement leadership team. The role leads all commercial aspects of all of Infrabuild’s ICT spend (40-50 million). Specifically, the purpose of the role is to source, contract and manage suppliers, identify value (both price and non-price), efficiencies, continuous improvements in cost and service, new equipment and performance reporting. -Contribute to the development of the digital procurement strategy -Identify opportunities to improve IT operations and develop the supply market -Actively manage risks associated with the external spend -Collaborate with other category managers to deliver a cohesive procurement strategy and approach -Manage the end to end sourcing activity and negotiate contracts for all ICT subcategories -Ensure that contract coverage is over 90% -Manage relationships with critical suppliers and evaluate their operational performances -Develop category strategies by closely aligning with all IT stakeholders

What You Bring
-Strong analytical and conceptual skills -A strong knowledge of all ICT Sub Categories will be an advantage -Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills -Strong written and presentation skills -Ability to interact at all levels including EGM/Board -Minimum 5 years commercial experience managing complex and high value Technology spend -Very effective organisation and prioritisation skills -Strong commercial skillset with demonstrated experience in negotiating and management complex large spend contracts
