Tasks

-Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities through improved product design/design for manufacturing. -Provide, troubleshoot, and maintain control interfaces for electrical components such as motors, fans, VFDs, and other electrical equipment to meet project requirements. -Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve build processes, wiring practices, and testing methods for electrical and control systems. -Prepare detailed technical documentation to support varying levels of technical and non-technical personnel. -Support new product development with conceptual designs and layouts, as needed. -Maintain standard and custom air handler solutions by generating schematic drawings, validating components, and preparing equipment documentation. -Provide technical support to manufacturing teams for electrical and controls-related issues.

What You Bring

-Experience in HVAC systems design and manufacturing, ideally with expertise in data center cooling technologies (e.g., Chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, liquid cooling systems). -Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer. -Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS) and networking. -Proficiency in control system theory. -Demonstrated problem solver & team player. -3+ years in electrical or controls engineering preferred. -Effective communication skills, both written and oral. -State-of-the-art equipment and tools to support your work -Minimal travel requirements (typically less than 25%) primarily for project support, testing, and collaboration with regional teams. -Knowledge of applicable safety and compliance standards (IEC, NFPA, UL, etc.). -Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and project completion. -Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, VFDs, and various industrial communication systems. -Minimum B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. -Experience developing or improving work instructions, testing protocols, or manufacturing processes.
