What You Bring

They are seeking a Design Engineer to join their in-office team and support the design and execution of solar projects ranging from 200 kW - 5 MW. This individual will work closely with both the design and construction teams to create accurate system layouts, perform production modeling, and ensure all designs meet technical, electrical, and structural requirements. The ideal candidate will have around 2 years of experience in commercial or industrial solar design, strong AutoCAD and PVSyst or HelioScope skills, and a solid understanding of how PV systems are built and operate. -2+ years of experience in commercial or industrial (C&I) solar design -Strong understanding of how PV systems are engineered and constructed -Familiarity with NEC standards and local permitting requirements -Experience with Pvsyst or HelioScope for production modeling and energy yield analysis -Preferred engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy discipline -Ability to prepare detailed design packages including single-line diagrams and plan sets -Proficiency in AutoCAD for system layout and electrical design -Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to interface with design, construction, and project management teams
