Tasks

We're currently looking to recruit an Project Manager into our projects team to manage a portfolio of Capital works up to £20m in value. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of port infrastructure projects, this is a key role in the development of port facilities working to improve operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Working in a dynamic port environment, this role involves managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring all aspects of the project meet regulatory, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.

What You Bring

Certification in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, APM) is advantageous. Construction, engineering or surveying Bachelors degree level qualification ideally, or substantial time served experience You'll be based at either Immingham or Hull but with travel to all 4 ports in the area and should have a background in construction, project management, surveying and engineering and be able to understand the technical constraints of delivery. We have a number of refurbishment and new projects which feed into our operational delivery and also into our sustainability strategy Ready For Tomorrow. A strong proactive approach to HSE both day-to-day and built into project plans is essential. As part of our recruitment process, all successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment screening to Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). A medical will be required before starting this position also. Basic knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM). (Ideal) Familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools. Understanding of sustainability practices in construction. (Ideal) Proven track record of managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Experience in port or maritime project settings. (Ideal) Proven project management experience, ideally within relevant infrastructure sectors Strong understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental regulations within an engineering environment
