Assist driller with soil drilling, rock coring, sampling and equipment tasks.

Tasks

-Assist Driller to load / unload augers and assemble / disassemble augers -Prepare tooling and supplies for the day’s tasks -Retrieve and log samples -Clean / maintain equipment and perform site clean up -Assist with the location of boring locations

• driver's license
• night shift
• travel 60%
• lift 50lb

What You Bring

-Ability to work over night hours and off shift -Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance -6 months of drilling or any construction experience -Ability to travel up to 60% -Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound -1 year Driller Helper/Assistant experience -High School Diploma or equivalent -Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures -Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed -Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record -Ability to climb occasionally, and work at various heights -Ability to kneel and squat occasionally -Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
