Overview
Oversee and manage structural construction activities on infrastructure and water projects.

Tasks
-Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, adhering to all safety policies and procedures. -Identify and resolve any mechanical issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. -Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements -Mentor and help to grow fellow Kiewit staff through performance evaluations -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Manage contract administration (subcontractor/field management) -Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders. -Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and providing regular project updates. -Plan, schedule, and coordinate all civil activities on assigned projects. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and materials, and approve monthly job cost updates. -Ensure all mechanical work meets project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. -Supervise and mentor civil crews, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

-Ability to identify and resolve any problems that may arise. -Ability to access all areas on a construction project site -Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Regular, reliable attendance -5+ years of construction experience with 3+ years in a Superintendent/leadership capacity -Associated or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred -Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding Kiewit’s policies, procedures and software programs. -Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements and jurisdictional issues, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents -Strong experience in Leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration
