Perform civil construction tasks like drainage, concreting, kerbing and operate plant safely.

Tasks

-Ensure a safe, tidy place of work -Installing drainage, laying concrete, kerbs, and pavements, and carrying out excavation and groundworks, digging trenches, loading and unloading materials -Communicate with the site supervisor on any concerns -Maximise use of own working time -Use best/safe practice on all tasks carried out -Checks are conducted on equipment that may be used -Ensure signed up for all permits and briefings before commencing any work -Implement best practice procedures -Ensure to attend all site briefings, forums, and toolbox talks

What You Bring

-Understand all relevant risk and method statements -Leadership & management training and coaching -Experience in general civil works (earthworks, drainage, ducting, kerbing, and concreting) -Feedback to site management with near-miss reporting -Either CPCS forward tipping dumper/ slinger signaller/ride on roller/360 excavator/telehandler -Signs (design and fabrication) -Deputise for conducting briefings and toolbox talks -CSCS card
