Overview

Assemble, wire, and test electrical switchboards according to specifications.

Tasks

-Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively. -Complete assigned job duties within goal hours. -Maintain a clean and safe work environment. -Perform quality checks and testing to ensure functionality and compliance. -Wire electrical components according to specifications. -Hold measurements to specific tolerance -Assemble switchboard components, including circuit breakers, bus bars, and control panels. -Use power and hand tools -Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as needed. -Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. -Follow additional written and verbal instructions as necessary.

What You Bring

-Able to use tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc. -Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, assembly prints -Basic understanding of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) -Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs. -Tow Motor and Overhead Crane Experience is a plus -Two years’ experience in a production environment preferred -Knowledge of fractions and decimals -High School diploma or equivalent -Excellent hand-eye coordination with good eyesight, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors -Prolonged periods of standing -Ability to work safely and effectively in a production environment -Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently
