General Operative

Description

• Carrying out prestart checks and preventative maintenance on all fixed and mobile plant
• Quality control on outgoing commodities
• Operation of on-site baler and processing plant
• Comply with site health and safety rules and procedures
• Inspections of incoming loads

Requirements

• Good knowledge of preventative maintenance
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Good communication skills
• Operation of non-road vehicle i.e. counterbalance forklift, telescopic forklift and 360 excavator
• Experience working with balers
• Telescopic forklift license
• A full clean driving licence
• Previous experience working in a waste/ recycling environment
• Must have valid licence and experience in one of the following: counterbalance forklift, telescopic forklift or 360 excavator
• Ability to work as a part of a team and follow the given instructions
