Tasks

-Perform rigging, demo, and installation work on HVAC retrofit projects. -Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to complete projects efficiently. -Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company policies. -Fitting or threading steel and PVC pipe -Fabricate and install copper, carbon steel, stainless steel, and PVC piping. -Welding carbon or stainless steel pipe -Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with codes and safety standards. -Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. -Fit, align, and secure pipe systems and supports according to specifications and drawings. -Weld and assemble piping systems using various methods (TIG, MIG, stick, brazing, soldering, etc.).

What You Bring

-3+ years of experience in pipe welding or mechanical retrofit environments. -Ability to pass a pipe welding test (administered at our Bloomington shop). -Proficiency in one or more of the following: -Soldering or brazing copper pipe -Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety mindset. -Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Southern California. -Skilled at reading and following mechanical drawings and specifications. -High school diploma or GED equivalent.
