Tasks

-Apply knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and tolerances to produce high-quality deliverables. -Translate mechanical and structural design concepts into detailed fabrication shop drawings for nuclear facilities and components. -Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy, constructability, and compliance with nuclear industry standards. -Support multi-disciplinary teams by integrating mechanical and structural elements into cohesive drawing packages. -Contribute to projects that enhance the safety, sustainability, and modernization of Canada’s nuclear infrastructure.

What You Bring

-Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Revit; experience with 3D modeling and drawing management systems is an asset. -Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment with a strong focus on quality assurance and safety. -Familiarity with CSA N285, ASME, and other relevant nuclear codes and standards. -More than 5 years of experience in mechanical and/or structural drafting, ideally within the nuclear or heavy industrial sectors.
