Tasks

This unique role supports both property management operations and accounting functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our properties while maintaining accurate financial records. Ideal for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. -Maintain and update tenant contact lists and assist with monthly reporting. -Maintain lease and contract files, track tenant billing, and assist with setting up Base Rent, CAM, and billable services. -Research and resolve discrepancies in tenant receivables. -Assist with budgeting and cash flow analysis as needed. -Conduct regular property inspections and ensure first-class building appearance and operations. -Coordinate and monitor vendors (janitorial, landscaping, security, pest control, etc.). -Provide full administrative support including phone/email communication, typing, filing, and document management. -Support Property Manager on special projects and communicate with internal/external stakeholders as needed. -Handle tenant service requests and maintain positive tenant relations through calls and visits. -Ensure compliance with tax laws and assist with audit preparation. -Manage daily bookkeeping activities including A/P, A/R, and data entry. -Provide front desk coverage during lunch hours and serve as backup for receptionist duties as needed. -Maintain general ledger for multiple entities and perform bank reconciliations.

What You Bring

-Detail-oriented with strong analytical and reporting abilities. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); QuickBooks or similar accounting software a plus. -Driver’s License preferred. -Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. -Ability to travel to and work from Brooklyn, NY Monday through Friday. -3+ years of experience in property management, administration, and bookkeeping. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
