Sample Mangement Group Leader, Eurofins Environment Testing Northwest, Burlington, WA

Oversees sample receipt, tracking, storage, QA/EHS, budgeting, and team management.

Tasks

-Disposes of samples to meet regulatory specifications. -Attends monthly compliance and EH&S meetings. -Maintains PM corrective action book to ensure no sample hold times are exceeded. -Logs samples into LIMS to expedite the analysis process. -Leads auditors through department during audits and explains department procedures. -Writes and delivers annual performance reviews to all direct reports. -Oversees the removal of all samples from the walk-in to the sample disposal area. -Labels samples for tracking purposes. -Follows up on responsibilities delegated to Sample Control Technicians. -Prepares the weekly TAT report to communicate department TAT to laboratory management. -Delivery of samples to analysts. -Orders department supplies as needed. -Ships all subcontracted samples to designated lab for tests not performed in onsite. -Handle multiple priorities and changing priorities -Performs weekly inventory and budget documentation. -Prepares bottle kits for delivery to clients. -Documents training received for all Sample Control Technicians.

Requirements
