Tasks

-Regularly required to type and document work in a computerized maintenance system. -Advanced Maintenance: Perform complex maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. -Support safe work practices and ensure compliance with company and client safety standards. -Regularly required to type and document work in CMMS systems. -Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including air handlers, pumps, fans, and split systems. -Safety & Compliance: Champion safety culture by modeling best practices and ensuring all work meets C&W Services and OSHA standards. -Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and MEP-related issues. -Coordination: Collaborate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other departments to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize operational downtime. -Respond to and close out work orders in the CMMS system, documenting all time, materials, and work performed. -Preventive Programs: Lead and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring documentation accuracy and timely completion within CMMS. -Provide input on system condition and improvement opportunities. -Coordinate with senior technicians and contractors on larger system repairs or equipment replacements. -Diagnostics: Identify root causes of recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term, sustainable solutions. -Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of temperature controls and automation systems. -Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure tools and parts are properly stored.

What You Bring

-2+ years of experience performing HVAC maintenance and repair in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments. -Must be able to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently. -Trade or technical school certification in HVAC or Mechanical Systems. -Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently on complex systems. -Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures. -Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. -Must be able to move between departments and facilities throughout the workday. -Proven ability to lead by example and support team development. -Associate degree or higher in a technical, mechanical, or electrical field. -Demonstrated ability to mentor and influence team members positively. -Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. -Leadership in Practice: Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and teamwork while informally guiding and mentoring lower-level technicians. -Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. -General knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and basic electrical troubleshooting. -EPA/CFC certification (required). -Familiarity with plumbing or basic electrical work. -Involves movement between departments, floors, and facilities, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day. -Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), controls, and automation. -Proficiency in CMMS or work order management systems. -Demonstrated ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment. -Experience with HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS). -High school diploma or equivalent. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation. -Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required. Travel between sites will be a requirement of the role. -Proficiency using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). -Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS). -Experience with Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems and regulatory compliance. -Ability to perform tasks wearing required PPE, which may include safety glasses, gloves, and composite toe shoes. -Minimum of four (4) years of experience in facilities or industrial maintenance.
