Tasks

-Meet and exceed pre determined sales goals. -Maintain a successful track record selling building materials to contractors. Demonstrate and practice excellent customer service skills. -Understand and advise customers on products and services that SPEC Building Materials offers. -Prospecting for new accounts through cold calling, provide leads and networking. -Maintain existing customer base with excellent customer service. -Maintain good relationships with our valued vendors.

What You Bring

-Possess strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -At least two years of outside sales (preferably in the building material distribution industry). -The ability to manage ones time effectively with little supervision. -Two years of Industry (or) Industry-related experience in Home Building or Remodeling is a plus. -Possess strong math skills. -Maintain a current and valid state issued driver's license. -Possess strong computer skills.
