Overview

Design and manage solid waste and landfill projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Tasks

-Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and scientific principles and practices in solid waste assignment areas and related fields -Office based tasks including: AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans and facility diagrams, permit applications, etc -Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications -Makes decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods, plan and coordinate work, and represent us at meetings and conferences. -Business development including: proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry related conferences/trade shows -Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects -Complete designs using 2D and Civil 3D AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, etc

What You Bring

-Experience with using AutoCAD Civil 3D design software -Field work performed in varied terrain and weather will be required -Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required -E.I.T. required, P.E. preferred -Minimum of 4 years of civil engineering design experience required. Solid waste related experience is a plus -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering required
