The purpose of this role is to drive business development and present qualified opportunities for the company to develop, and provide ongoing technical and commercial support as developments move through the various stage gates.

You will be responsible for taking projects through the development approval process, and being the key point of contact throughout the process.

Led at least one utility-scale project through the development approvals process
Oversee planning, permitting and regulatory compliance
Implementing procedures to ensure project efficiency
Lead and manage the development phase of solar, BESS and wind projects
Manage internal and external stakeholders, including landowners
Lead all front-end activities, including technical requirements, commercials and environmental

A global energy business with a significant portfolio of renewable energy projects and a commitment to increase its presence in Australia has an opportunity for a Project Development Manager with Solar, BESS and ideally Wind experience.

Degree qualified (technical) and have approx. 5 years + experience in utility scale renewable energy project development - specifically within solar and BESS.
Familiar with Australian regulatory standards and compliance relating to developing Utility Scales renewable projects and connecting them to the network
