Tasks

-Participate in value engineering exercises and provide cost-saving recommendations -Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and tender submissions using CostX and Cubit -Work collaboratively with project managers and engineers to ensure cost accuracy and constructability -Analyse drawings, specifications, and documentation for accuracy and completeness -Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and evaluate pricing -Maintain and update cost databases, unit rates, and benchmarking information

What You Bring

-Proven experience as an Estimator within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial builder -Proficient in CostX and Cubit – both are essential -Strong background in structural refurbishment, remedial, or upgrade projects (not just fit-out) -Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills -Ability to work autonomously within a busy pre-construction team -Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
