Overview

Lead sustainable design, LEED coordination, energy & life‑cycle analysis for projects.

Tasks

-Recommend ways to improve our process, quality and coordination efforts. -Perform building energy and life cycle analysis. -Guide the sustainable design process through workshops, design charrettes, stakeholder engagement etc. -Facilitate in-house design team and client meetings. -May visit job site to verify conditions and document construction for LEED etc requirements. Site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site. -Manage/facilitate/coordinate sustainable design strategies for multiple institutional and commercial building design and construction projects. -Manage the documentation process for rating systems and standards, primarily LEED. -Research materials, systems, and approaches to improve the health and wellness of our projects.

What You Bring

-Able to effectively handle multiple projects. -Strong sustainability portfolio is essential as are strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Minimum Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering, or Environmental Design (or equivalent) from an accredited program required. -Healthcare, Higher Education and/or K-12 typology experience preferred. -Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience required. -Experience with life cycle assessment (e.g. Tally, One-Click LCA, Athena) preferred. -Experience in energy analysis software (e.g. eQUEST, Energy Plus) preferred. -LEED AP BD+C required, additional certifications a plus.
